Beth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. She knows that finding a good "fit" between client and therapist is essential to making changes and progress in life.
About Me
Beth understands that play is the way that children communicate. Therapeutic toys, games, and sand trays, are helpful in providing a safe and calm environment for children to be able to express their needs and worries. Play therapy and Sandtray Play Therapy offer children, of all ages, this opportunity.
Beth has completed the 3 levels of Sandtray Play Therapy through SageSource Learning Center.
TheraPlay is a playful, relationship-focused treatment method that is interactive, physical, and fun. The principles of TheraPlay are based on attachment theory.
This intervention is designed to help troubled families reconnect and fully engage with each other.
To date, Beth has completed the first Level of TheraPlay training.
Beth graduated with my Master's degree in Social Work in 2011 from the University of Georgia. Since then she has enjoyed working with children, teens, adults, and families.
